Designing a room is so much more fun when you share the process with friends…and it’s so much more likely to actually get done if you have a deadline. So I'm back for my first One Room Challenge in five years!
In our old home, I did four challenges:
Our Dining Room ( Spring 2017)
The Primary Bedroom & Closet (Spring 2018)
My Son's Bedroom (Fall 2018)
Open Plan Kitchen/Dining/Living (Spring 2019)
All of these projects were featured on Cityline and in magazines like House and Home, Style at Home and HGTV magazine. Which, I think you can tell by the look on my face, was all pretty amazing!
Now we are in our new home, that we've named Rosie. It's over 100 years old and every room is getting redesigned...at some point. Isn't she cute?!
I can’t WAIT to decorate this first space: the dining room. It’s what you see when you come in the house and it’s where I hope we host many happy moments with family and friends. Other than the floors, every surface in this room is going to get a new look. And we’re doing the work all ourselves. I hope you join in the fun for the next 8 weeks as we take this space from empty to beautiful. xo Sarah
